Michelle would like to compete in OWHL-Eastern as a U15AA team if the skills allow it.
Coach Guay has many years of competitive hockey experience. Some of those years of experience include playing at the A level for the Cornwall Typhoons. Michelle has played in three National Aboriginal Championships, and also for St. Lawrence College. In that time she has had many great coaches, leaders and role models that have taught her how hard work, dedication, and commitment to any team can give you great results. Michelle had the opportunity to coach at the competitive level last year for the U13A Cornwall Typhoons, successfully leading her team to Gold at the OWHA Eastern Championship. This has helped her to continue to discover who "I am as a Coach and what direction I want to go with this year’s team". Coach Guay's goals for next season are to create a fun/safe environment for the girls to grow and develop individually and as a team. Her plan for the team is to be competitive and grow together throughout the year. Michelle's philosophy for coaching is, “Work hard, never give up, be positive, and have fun while playing a game you love. Players First – Winning Second!”
If you would like to get in contact with her regarding information about the team or tryouts you can reach her at 613-362-0024 or at Michelle_Guay19@hotmail.com.
