Our U11A coach is Jeff Gibbs tryouts for our U11A Competitive team will take place later this fall.
Coach Gibbs has been fortunate to work with and develop athletes from the grassroots to the elite level of sport. Coaching hockey from novice up to the Jr A level as an assistant coach has also been a humbling, rewarding, and enjoyable experience. He is a strong believer in having a positive, competitive, and athlete centered team culture. Setting up this type of environment allows the girls to develop the love of coming to the rink by providing a development first mentality that can accelerate their enjoyment, skills and confidence. His goal is for your daughter to learn through challenging, fast-paced practices that are a key element in helping them reach their potential. The competitive hockey experience is one the requires hard work, perseverance, team play, and respect; characteristics these girls will inherently learn through playing hockey for the Typhoons and use far beyond the game of hockey. Coach Gibbs looks forward to a great year. Go Typhoons Go!
