End of Season

Dear Typhoons family

 

We have taken a few days to look into the feasibility of continuing this season, and with all things considered, we have come to the very hard decision to end the season after all ice times have finished on Sunday March 28th.

 

We realize that many were ready to continue with a modified scheduled; however, with the limit of 10 on any ice pad at once (including coach and trainer) and no accessibility to change rooms or other services at the Benson centre, as well as the clear message from the Health Unit and the government of Ontario that the shift in numbers needs to start moving down, we had to make the best decision for health and safety of our players and volunteers.
 

We would like to thank all our coaches, volunteers, parents and players for their cooperation throughout a very different, at times difficult, season.  

 

Due to the low cost of the registration this past year, we will be reviewing the finances for potential refunds or credit for the upcoming season.  We will post more details soon.

 

The executive is already working hard to prepare for next season, whatever that may look like. At this time, this is all the information we have.
