Competitive Coaching Announcement for U13 Tier 1

Michelle Guay has been selected at the coach for the U13 Tier 1 Cornwall Typhoons for the 2021-22 season. Michelle can be contacted at michelle_guay19@hotmail.com. 

 
Michelle has been playing or coaching hockey since she was a toddler and played at the competitive level for the Cornwall Typhoons, Ontario South, Eastern Door and the North, and St. Lawrence College. In that time, she had the privilege to play for some incredible leaders in the hockey world. This leadership is what made her want to give back to the girls in this association and volunteer her time as a coach. Michelle brings forth years of hockey experiences which she hopes to share with CGHA throughout the season.

Michelle is committed to the growth and development of your child and will work to engage the girls to grow and learn new skills while having fun along the way. Michelle has coached for the Cornwall Typhoons at a competitive level on and off for the past 5 years. Her coaching philosophy for this season is to ensure all players have an equal opportunity to grow and improve, while giving 100% of themselves every time they hit the ice. She will challenge the girls to become better players, teammates and all around respectful and coachable athletes while building their confidence and trust. 

MIchelle expects the girls to be 100% committed to this team on and off the ice, to be hard working, to be coachable and respectful to teammates and coaching staff, and to have a willingness to learn  new skills, set plays, and systems, all in order to have the girls compete at the highest level possible.
