CGHA Bantam B Typhoons win Gold in Kanata

The Typhoons competed in a 7 team pool bracket finishing tied for 1^st overall in the tournament.  The Typhoons defeated Markham Stouffville Stars 3-0, North York Storm 2-0, Scarborough Sharks 7-0, Toronto Leaside Wildcats 2-0 in round robin play not allowing a goal scored against them. The Typhoons needed to play a semi final game against a league rival and tournament host team Kanata Rangers, winning the game 4-2 and advancing to the championship game.  The Typhoons faced off against the other undefeated team the Oakville Hornets in the championship game.  The game was fierce and very exciting with the Typhoons winning the game 3-1 to capture Gold.
